To collect donations, the Youth and Trainee Representation organized a donation booth. Conference participants had the opportunity to have personalized keychains and signs created using laser engraving in exchange for a voluntary donation to support the charitable cause. Over the course of the conference, more than €2,200 was raised.
The presentation of the donation in Hamburg also reflects the EEW Group’s strong regional ties: the company has maintained a presence in Stapelfeld, northeast of the Hanseatic city, for more than 45 years. The idea to donate to Sternenbrücke was proposed by the apprentices based there.
“We chose Sternenbrücke because it is important to us not only to talk about solidarity, but to put it into action — for families living with circumstances that are almost unimaginable,” said Louis Schulz, Chairman of the Central Youth and Trainee Representation. “The fact that our initiative raised more than €2,200 demonstrates a strong willingness to help. The decision by EEW Group management to double the amount sends a powerful signal: they take the commitment of our young talent seriously — and they are strengthening families who need every possible form of support right now.”

With this initiative, the GJAV is supporting families caring for a child with a severe, life-limiting illness. The Sternenbrücke Children’s Hospice stands by those affected during a time when, alongside medical care, one thing matters above all: reliable support and meaningful time together.
