EEW Energy from Waste showcases pioneering solutions at IFAT: Redefining Thermal Waste Utilization

EEW Energy from Waste (EEW) is making a statement for a sustainable future at IFAT 2024. Under the motto “Let's Talk About Tomorrow,” EEW invites visitors to Hall A6, Booth 315/414 from May 13th to 17th, 2024, to learn about the latest developments in the field of thermal waste utilization at the world's leading trade fair for environmental technology.

"The IFAT is the platform for excellence in the circular economy. It is the optimal place for us to showcase our innovation and demonstrate the direction in which thermal waste utilization is evolving," explains Timo Poppe, CEO of EEW. "That's why we've created the Speakers Corner, an innovative format that allows direct dialogue with our experts," Poppe continues. The range of solutions for advancing thermal waste utilization includes the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to bacteria that transform CO2 into a raw material, from the opportunities of digitization to technologies for improving the CO2 balance.

Furthermore, EEW addresses the significant future question of how to recover the critical resource phosphorus from sewage sludge as an irreplaceable building block of all life. Many municipalities still rely on its agricultural use as fertilizer and are hardly prepared for the obligations for phosphorus recovery that will come into effect from 2029. EEW offers solutions for this. An expert team provides information at the joint booth of the German Association for Water, Wastewater, and Waste (DWA) in Hall B2. 127/226.
